FHI360 ESARO Director visit to Malawi EMPOWER activities in Machinga

On 13th January 2022, FHI 360 East and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) Director Dr. Otto Chabikuli visited one of the Malawi EMPOWER’s service delivery sites in Ntaja, Machinga to appreciate EMPOWER’s provision of HIV prevention and SRH services to Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW). The ESARO Director’s visit presented a great opportunity for him to witness first-hand, how integrated HIV prevention and SRH services are provided to the AGYW in DREAMS Clubs. USAID Mission Director Visit

On 10th December 2021, the USAID Mission Director Dr. Katie Lott visited Thunya Village, Traditional Authority Mwambo in Zomba district where she witnessed EMPOWER’s provision of HIV prevention and SRH services to Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW). The USAID Mission Director’s visit presented a great opportunity for her to witness first-hand, how integrated HIV prevention and SRH services are provided to the AGYW in DREAMS clubs. Dr. Katie Lott commended the project for the great work it is doing in ensuring AGYW have access to quality HIV prevention, SRH and GBV services
